You know, I’m almost pleased not to have any in-person speaking engagements booked for the next month or so! (My weekly radio show will continue through the summer). I enjoy them very much but, being a far-from-recovered perfectionist, preparation for each event takes far longer than it should.
Anyway, as a result of the (slight) slow-down, I find myself unusually with time to devote to those business building projects that have been clamouring for attention.
Does this mean I’m no longer overwhelmed? Actually, I don’t think it does. While some of the urgency of immediate deadlines has subsided, it really is just a temporary reprieve. My focus now is to sort out both website and blog in the next 10 days. It has become a sad case of not doing that which I coach my clients to do – and therefore not walking my own talk!
And, have you noticed that even with the myriad of labour and time saving devices now freely available, there are still never enough hours in the day? Funny that .....
