Over the 10+ years since I started my first business, I've studied for hundreds of hours with many different and great mentors. Here are a selection of the excellent programes and books which have helped me and I still refer to frequently. Each one has taught me valuable lessons or shown me a different approach to try.
I'm happy to recommend them to you, in no particular order of importance or preference! (Affiliate Disclosure - I do earn commissions from most of the products I mention here.)
The Client Attraction Home Study System. This is a well designed step-by-step program by Fabienne Fredrickson, taking you through many different ways to 'attract more clients' in your small business. (The version I bought was just the E-Book and I got the CDs later.)
The OnlIne Success Blueprint, by Ali Brown, is very helpful in teaching a systematic approach to using the internet to market a small business. It's a big programme and is based on the 3-4 day Workshop of the same name.
Created especially for coaches, consultants, authors, speakers, and other solo-preneurs, this one-of-a-kind, 7-step program walks you through Inc 500 CEO Ali Brown's entire simple system to use the Internet and information products to skyrocket your profits AND your free time. This is the "learn at home version" of Ali’s renowned, sold out Online Success Blueprint® Workshop, featuring full DVDs of the entire event.
How To Find Your Niche, Your USP and The Market That’s Hungry For Your Services
is another hefty home study course, this time by UK Marketing Niche
expert Hannah McNamara. To get an idea of what's included, you might
like to listen to the interview I did with Hannah just before she
launched this in July 2009. Click here to listen.
Your Business Machine Basics by Beth Schneider. This home study course shows how implementing systems and processes will help your business run more efficiently with
less effort on your part.
Books, books and more books .....
I love books and have literally hundreds of them in my book cases. This tiny selection is from my 'A' list of business reading. Some are practical, I found them all inspiring. I hope you enjoy them!
Audio Acrobat. If you want to put audio on your website or blog (like the message on here) this is an easy way to do it. Try the free version first! They do video too, though I haven't tried that yet.
