Over the 10+ years since I started my first business, I've studied for hundreds of hours with many different and great mentors. Here are a selection of the excellent programes and books which have helped me and I still refer to frequently. Each one has taught me valuable lessons or shown me a different approach to try.
I'm happy to recommend them to you, in no particular order of importance or preference!
The Client Attraction Home Study System. This is a well designed step-by-step program by Fabienne Fredrickson, taking you through many different ways to 'attract more clients' in your small business. The version I bought was just the E-Book (I got the CDs later).
The Info Marketing Guru. This was the first program I ever bought! Robert Middleton has been around for many years and teaches some great basic marketing techniques for people in service businesses. I also found The Website Toolkit very helpful when putting together the first FrontLine Results website back in 2005, it's a step by step guide on what to write for each page, and in what order.
Boost Business with Your own Ezine. Although I've had my own Ezine since 2003, this product from Ali Brown still taught me quite a lot. The bonuses are excellent value, although I found it rather annoying that so many of the resources were only really useful in the US.
The OnlIne Success Blueprint, again by Ali Brown, is very helpful in teaching a systematic approach to using the internet to market a small business. It's a big programme and is based on the 3-4 day Workshop of the same name.
How To Find Your Niche, Your USP and The Market That’s Hungry For Your Services is another hefty home study course, this time by UK Marketing Niche expert Hannah McNamara. Your Business Machine Basics by Beth Schneider. This home study course shows how implementing systems and processes will help your business run more efficiently with
less effort on your part.

Audio Acrobat. If you want to put audio on your website or blo (like the message on this page) this is an easy way to do it. Try the free version first! They do video too, though I haven't tried that yet.
